Gavin Brown is a 2004 graduate of the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pa. After graduation, he continued his studies at Liberty University for the continuance of his Masters of Divinity. Gavin has served in full time ministry for 20 years and has been serving as Senior Pastor of Lifehouse Church in Beltsville, MD for the last eight years.
Most recently, Gavin joined the First Generation College Bound team as their Executive Director. He previously served the organization as a board member for 15 years and was the board chairman for the last seven years.
Gavin is also a traveling youth camp/motivational speaker with a desire to share messages of hope, resilience, and faith. He is a proud board member of the Potomac Network, serving as the under forty representatives, a member of the city of Laurel clergy council, and the alumni president of his alma mater.
Gavin is passionate about helping people see beyond their circumstances and encouraging them with hope.
He resides in his hometown of Laurel, MD, with his wife, Shekinah, and their three children.
