Jennifer Gonzales was born in Washington, D.C., but raised in Prince George's County, MD. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Forensic Psychology from Marymount University. After graduation, she worked with the Literacy Lab as a literacy coach for elementary students in Washington, D.C. In 2021, she joined a teacher preparation program with KIPP DC and became a first-grade teacher.
Jennifer discovered she is passionate about helping students overcome challenges and become academically confident. She joined First Generation College Bound in 2024. She is excited to work with students and families through the college application process and see the students transition from their high school journey to college journey
